Mercatis Law Europe is delighted to announce its return to London, and from Monday 21st March 2022 will be taking up residence in its new offices at 1A Middle Temple Lane, Temple, London, EC4Y 9AA.
In these turbulent times London remains an important hub for shipping, international trade, finance, insurance and commercial litigation/alternative dispute resolution. As a specialist commodities law firm – providing legal services in our niche area (where financial commodities meet physical & shipping) – we have decided to be closer to our London-based clients and their financiers/insurers and the Courts. The move reflects our growth as a firm and a recognition in the market of the need for truly specialist services in the physical/financial commodities arena.
Middle Temple is one of the four Inns of Court in London. Dating back to the 16th century, arguably the Inns are the original legal epicentre of the modern Common Law world. In addition to its legal credentials, Middle Temple Hall hosted the first ever performance of Twelfth Night (featuring one W. Shakespeare). We feel privileged that our new offices (chambers) are at the heart of this. Paul was called to the Bar by the Middle Temple in 1988.
Our offices are at the Fleet Street entrance to Middle Temple, through the large black wooden gate in the arch almost opposite the Royal Courts of Justice. We look forward to welcoming you soon.
