Sofia is a graduate in Law (high 2:1) from the University of Portsmouth who joined Mercatis Law in January 2018 whilst completing the final year of her LLB in law. In parallel with her degree she also completed the Law in Practice course, in which she achieved a 1st, and was awarded with a prize from the University of Law, Guildford for exceptional writing skills.
Sofia’s training contract with Mercatis Law concluded in March 2022. She is now a qualified solicitor.
Education Background
Sofia was at school at the Portsmouth High School for Girls, studying Psychology, Russian and French at A level. Following the completion of her Law Degree at the University of Portsmouth she studied the LPC at the University of Guildford and graduated in 2019.
Sofia is fluent in Russian, as well as in English and she provides advice on commodities transactions for our international clients. She is particularly experienced with bi-lingual commodities sale and purchase contracts for clients domiciled in Russia and the former CIS states.
